Americans Auto Quotes ("we," "us," "our") operates americansautoquotes.com (the "Site") to help drivers compare auto insurance coverage from licensed carriers and independent agents. When you submit a quote request or otherwise interact with the Site, we may collect:

Contact information — name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
Location information — the state (and ZIP code, if provided) where you and your vehicle are principally located.
Vehicle and driving information — details such as vehicle make/model, current carrier, and driving history, if you choose to share them with an agent.
Technical information — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URL, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
Communications — records of calls, texts, emails, and chat messages between you and us or our marketing partners, including call recordings where permitted by law.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Match you with licensed insurance agents and carriers that may be able to offer you coverage;
Route your request to one or more marketing partners so they can contact you about auto insurance products;
Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our quote-request process;
Communicate with you about your request, including by phone, text message, and email;
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity; and
Comply with applicable law, regulatory requests, and industry recordkeeping requirements (for example, TCPA consent documentation).

Americans Auto Quotes is a marketing website, not an insurance carrier. We do not issue policies. Instead, when you submit a request, your information is shared with one or more licensed insurance agents, carriers, and marketing partners so they can contact you directly with quotes and coverage options. We may also share information with:

Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, call routing, lead verification services such as TrustedForm or Jornaya/LeadiD);
Affiliates and business partners for the purposes described in this policy;
Government authorities or third parties when required by law, subpoena, or legal process; and
A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your Social Security number or other sensitive government identifiers. See Section 8 below regarding the sale or sharing of personal information under California law.

4. Our Marketing Partners

The insurance carriers, agencies, and lead-marketing companies that may contact you as a result of your quote request are listed on our Marketing Partners page. This list is reviewed and updated periodically; the version in effect at the time of your request governs which partners may receive your information.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize your browser, remember your preferences, measure the performance of our advertising, and attribute quote requests to the correct marketing source. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions.

6. Telemarketing, Calls & Texts

By submitting the quote request form, you provide your prior express written consent to be contacted by Americans Auto Quotes and our marketing partners at the phone number and email address you provide — including by automated dialing systems, prerecorded messages, and SMS/MMS text message — even if that number is on a state or the National Do Not Call Registry. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time; see Section 7.

7. Your Choices & Opt-Out

You may opt out of future communications, or request that your information not be shared with additional marketing partners, at any time by:

Submitting a request through our Opt-Out Policy page;
Replying "STOP" to any text message you receive; or
Calling us at (800) 555-0142.

Because your information may already have been shared with one or more marketing partners prior to your opt-out request, we recommend also contacting those partners directly if you continue to receive communications from them.

8. California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. 9. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it.

We retain quote-request information, consent records, and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, satisfy legal and regulatory recordkeeping obligations (including TCPA consent documentation), and resolve disputes.
